Alfonso Carlos Peña (November 4, 1928, Laredo, Texas, USA - September 5, 2007, Los Angeles, California, USA) was a voice actor from USA, known for voicing Fagin in Oliver & Company and Tiger in An American Tale and An American Tale: Fievel Goes West. He's also known as Alan Penn.

PENA, Alfonso Carlos Alfonso ("Pepe") Carlos Pena joined his Creator on September 5, 2007 in Alhambra, California. Mr. Pena was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso E. Pena and Margaret K. Pena, and his sister, Anita Ochoa. Mr. Pena is survived by his children, Dr. Devon G. Pena (Elaine Hastings Pena), Tania P. Hernandez (Michael Andrew Hernandez), and David A. Pena and by his beloved life-long partner, Lupita Pena. Mr. Pena is survived by his brothers Oscar Pena, Herman Pena, Robert Pena, Daniel Pena, and Jose Eduardo Pena. He is also survived by his sisters Dora Irma Barrera, Norma Torres, Rosa Maria Lane, and Mary Alice Pena. There are three surviving grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Mr. Pena was born on November 4, 1928 in Laredo, Texas. He graduated from Martin High School in 1946 and joined the Marine Corps in the aftermath of the Korean War. He was honorably discharged and moved to Hollywood, California in 1950 where he began a long and distinguished career in radio, television, and film. He became a leading figure in the Spanish language broadcasting industry. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, Mr. Pena was known as an innovative radio personality in southern California where he pioneered the Top Forty format for Spanish language radio while working as a DJ at KALI-FM. He was also a film actor and appeared in several Mexican film productions including the famous El Piporro venue, El Bracero del Ano (The Immigrant Worker of the Year). Mr. Pena attained recognition as a singer-songwriter and earned a Spanish language "Gold Record" for the hit single, La Baraja (The Deck of Cards). Indeed, he was recognized as a champion and promoter of the Spanish language. In 1986, he established the Pueblo Broadcasting Corporation, and created the first Spanish language television station in Houston, Texas, KXLN. He retired in 1991 and lived in Las Vegas and Hollywood over the past two decades. Mr. Pena's generosity is memorialized in numerous philanthropic efforts including most recently the establishment of an endowed graduate fellowship named in his honor at the University of Washington in Seattle and the seed endowment for a private non-profit philanthropy organization known as The Acequia Institute which supports Latino and other farmers of color. Mr. Pena will lay in state on Wednesday, September 12 at Turner and Stevens Funeral Home, 550 East Main Street, Alhambra, California. Family visitation hours will be from 4 to 5 p.m.; open visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m.; and prayer services and eulogies will be from 7 to 8 p.m. The interment service will be on Thursday, September 13 at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive in Los Angeles.
