Edgar Givry

Edgar Givry (August 9, 1953, Saint-Raphaël, Var, France) is a French voice actor who dubbed Wembley Fraggle and Philo on the French co-production of Fraggle Rock. He went on to dub Kermit the Frog in several Muppet movies, notably The Muppet Christmas Carol (Noël chez les Muppets), and Baby Kermit in the earliest French episodes of Muppet Babies.

Givry is the primary French voice of John Malkovich, including his appearances in Mary Reilly and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He also dubbed Timothy Dalton as James Bond in The Living Daylights, Dennis Quaid in Great Balls of Fire, and William Hurt in Children of a Lesser God.

In television, he dubbed Larry Hovis on Hogan's Heroes, Stephen Caffrey on Tour of Duty, and Richard Dean Anderson on MacGyver and Stargate SG-1. Animation voice credits include Don Karnage on TaleSpin, Eduardo on Extreme Ghostbusters, Preston Vogel on Gargoyles, P. T. Flea in A Bug's Life, the Magic Mirror in Shrek, and Nicky Flippers in Hoodwinked. On-camera, Givry has appeared in such films as The Dinner Game.
