Jacques Deschamps

Jacques Deschamps (August 14, 1931, Montpellier (Hérault), France - September 6, 2001, Pontoise (Val-d'Oise), France) was a French voice actor who dubbed Count von Count and Herry Monster on 1, Rue Sésame. He previously dubbed one of the Sesame Street Muppets in a guest appearance on Numéro un ‎. Deschamps voiced L'Horrible on the Rue Sésame album Ernest et Bart Reçoivent Leurs Amis and later dubbed Hoggle and one of The Four Guards in the first French dub of Labyrinth.

Deschamps was the official French voice of Robert Stack beginning with The Untouchables, as well as Clint Eastwood in A Fistful of Dollars and its sequels, Jack Warden in Being There, James Coco in The Cheap Detective, Richard Anderson on The Six Million Dollar Man, Charles Durning in Tootsie, Paul Sorvino in The Rocketeer, Charles Tyner in Pete's Dragon, and Hans-Helmut Dickow on Silas. Cartoon roles included the king in Cinderella, King Triton in The Little Mermaid, the beaver in Lady and the Tramp, Harry Canyon in Heavy Metal, Amos Slade in The Fox and the Hound, and Bud Bugman in the French animated feature The Ballad of the Daltons.
