Joan Pera (Septiembre 27, 1948, Mataró, Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish actor and television comedian. Born in the Catalonia region, Pera has been an active dubbing actor in both Castilian Spanish and Catalan. In Spanish, he dubbed Jen in The Dark Crystal and a squirrel in Dr. Dolittle. In Catalan, he dubbed Goggles for the TV Catalunya debut of Kermit's Swamp Years.
Pera's other Spanish dub credits include serving as the official dubbed voice of Rowan Atkinson and Woody Allen. He's also re-voiced Austin Pendleton in The Mirror Has Two Faces, Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters 2, and Dick Van Dyke in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. In Catalan, Pera voiced C-3PO in the first three Star Wars films, John Gielgud in Around the World in 80 Days, Michael J. Fox in Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2, Warwick Davis in The Wild Pony, and various parts on The Simpsons.
