José Leonardo is an actor from Brazil known for his work on Femmine in fuga (1984), O Outro (1987) and Louco Amor (1983).
He has dubbed Baby Rowlf in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of Muppet Babies and later dubbed Robbie Sinclair (renamed Bob da Silva Sauro) on Família Dinossauros (Dinosaurs). He also dubbed Beaker in Muppets' Wizard of Oz.
Leonardo established himself in Brazilian radio and dubbing as an adolescent in the late 80s, thus lending his tones mostly to teenage and juvenile roles. His voice has mostly stayed in the same high range as an adult, dubbing Zach Galifianakis in The Hangover movies, Seth Green on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and in the Austin Powers movies, Joshua Jackson on Dawson's Creek and The Affair, Evan Peters in the X-Men movies and on American Horror Story, Kunal Nayyar on The Big Bang Theory, Joseph Gordon-Levitt in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Tinky Winky on Teletubbies, and four different main rangers in various seasons of the Power Rangers franchise.
Cartoon roles include Cubby on Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Buster Bunny on Tiny Toon Adventures, Martin Prince and Ralph Wiggum on The Simpsons, Anakin Skywalker on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Courage on Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Lion-O on the 2011 Thundercats series.
