Masahiro Anzai (安西あんざい 正弘まさひろ Anzai Masahiro, November 26, 1954, Tokyo, Japan - March 15, 2021, Tokyo, Japan) was a Japanese voice actor and actor. He did the voice of Prince Philionel El Di Saillune in the first and second seasons of the Slayers anime. Due to his worsening diabetic condition, he was unable to reprise his role in Slayers TRY, and was replaced by Minoru Inaba.
Other roles include Ryunosuke's Father in Urusei Yatsura, Midori Kisaragi in Long Goodbye, Maomolin in Ranma 1/2, and Thundergeist in Yûsha Exkaiser.
He retired from acting in 1997 due to his treatment for diabetes, which caused his lower left leg to be amputated and blindness in the eye. He died of acute heart failure on March 15, 2021 at the age of 66.
