Tomohisa Asô (Born as Takuya Matsumaru, May 13, 1949, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) is an actor from Japan who was affiliated with Aoni Production and provided voices in the Japanese narration of Thomas & Friends.
He is best known for voicing Alfred Pennyworth from "The Batman", Dr. Light from "Mega Man X", Jim Houseman from the "Metal Gear" series and Peppy Hare from "Star Fox", also known for Dragon Ball Z (1989), Metal Gear Solid (1998) and Sonic X (2003).
